PREP FOR COLOR

Commercial prep requirements:

  1. Send me hard drive or trimmed camera originals via web (max 25-frame handles). You can trim/transcode in Resolve link how-to 
  2. XML or AAF.
  3. Offline reference matching the XML (with source clip name + timecode burn-ins).
  4. VFX deliveries:
    • Naming example: sh010_v001 (shot name + version)
    • If there are mattes (screen comps, transitions, etc.), please include them in the same folder as the shot
    • Deliver VFX in native camera color space as ProRes 4444 XQ, or as ACEScg (linear) EXR sequences (AP0, DWAA compression)
  5. I’ll be grading in DaVinci Resolve Studio 20.3, so if you can provide a .drt or .drp, that’s very welcome.
  6. If Cinematographer used custom LUT on set let me know please

Music Video prep requirements:

  • Please export pre-conformed sequence as format: *mov codec: ProRess4444XQ in camera color space delivery resolution or any you prefer. Any fade-in\out shots should be send separately. Upload via web-cloud services.
