ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan. I have a technical background, but I’ve always wanted to do something artistic. I started drawing since childhood, guided and inspired by my dad, Karim Tanayev, who’s a screenwriter and director. My professional journey began as an editor, then I moved into visual effects as a VFX artist, and eventually found my passion in color grading.
Overall, I have over 15 years of experience in post-production, and I’ve spent half of that time dedicated to color grading — a decision I’ve never regretted.
I love films and color!
